I am not hallucinating. I hope.

I am going to assume either I have taken a severe blow to the head, which is unlikely seeing as there hasn't been a meteor shower recently - or my cat just brought in a purple cat that turned into a naked girl with purple hair who raided my fridge, stole my tuna, ate it right in front of me, turned back into a cat, and chased Mao back out the door.

Did I mention the naked part?

Please tell me someone else has seen this, and that I'm not going crazy in my old age.

That's YOUR naked cat-girl, then? Good. I think she's chasing Mao back and forth across the dock.

Well, not mine *exactly*...

She's my new roommate.

...There's, er, no way to take clothes along when shapeshifting, that I know of, is the thing. And apparently she's as relaxed about it as Jane.

Naked as in no clothes? Seriously not any at all? That isn't some metaphor?

You try turning into something with four legs and keeping your clothes on.

I'm not complaining! I just wanted to make sure it wasn't some kind of crazy metaphor for, I dunno, whatever metaphor it might be!

Didn't mean to snap, sorry.

Only, if you run into me when I'm a wolf and I only shift partway back to human? There's a reason.

This is gonna make the deer thing more complicated, isn't it?

I shouldn't think it would be that much of a problem -- I can shift far enough to talk and have hands if I need to, without being immodest, and probably we can learn to understand each other without talking anyway. (I hope so. Talking spooks the deer.)

Oh. Okay. Cause the deer thing still sounds cool.

And I can do quiet. Easier not to talk if I'm outside. Inside I get all ... fidgety.
